Man films UFO with mobile phone; thousands see UFO in Nanjing skies on Tuesday
A man in China, surnamed Lau has this week shot video footage of a UFO flying past his house. At this time, very little else is known about the video; while in Nanjing, thousands of people have reported seeing a luminous red UFO fly across the city's skies at approximately 6pm on Tuesday 9th March. However, scientists from Purple Mountain Astronomical Oberservatory dismissed the occurrence as the exhaust plume of an aircraft in the evening sun. Nanjing is regarded as a hot spot for UFO activity with the city being visited on average every five years since 1892. In 1999, a large ship hovered directly over the city for more than four hours, while an orange V-shaped UFO with a long tail was seen on northern side of Purple Mountain in 2006. [more]
