Metro, for the rest of us (lucky not to live in Jiangning)
One of the most banded around expressions in the mini world of foreigners living in Nanjing is "It's a long way to Metro". Thankfully, the gigantic German collusus has taken the hint and on 1st September, 2010, Metro Nanjing Xiaguan proudly opened its doors. Located at #300 Jianning Lu in Xiaguan District (下关区建宁路300号), near to south side of the Yangtze River Bridge and Nanjing West Railway station, it is convenient for all of us living north or west of the city centre.
Take your Germs out now and give them the good old thanking they deserve.
