Outdoor shops in Nanjing 南京户外用品商店 Thanks to its proximity to beautiful countryside, Nanjing has a thriving community of outdoors lovers. Many of Nanjing's shops specialising in outdoor clothing and equipment are listed below. In addition, Nanjing is also host to Asia Outdoor, the largest outdoor exhibition in Asia, taking place at the end of July each year.
The major Chinese outdoor specialist is Sanfo. They have a huge store stocking most major international brands at 57 Zhongshan Lu, a little north of and on the same side of the street as the main China post office.
By Zhongyang Men on the top floor of the gigantic Yuqiao shopping mall is an excellent shop called Ye Cool, stocking some of the secondary level quality international outdoor brands such as Mammut. On the floor below is also a shop stocking inflatable dinghies and snorkeling equipment.
Quite a number of outdoor stores can be found Jinxianghe Lu, all a little north of the junction with Sipai Lo, the best of which being B.C. Outdoor who stocks all kinds of outdoor equipment including climbing equipment that is difficult to find elsewhere. They have two additional shops in the city; in the Hexi New City Mall on the 2nd floor and at 221 Longpan Zhong Lu.
Outlook is another Chinese outdoor chain and they can be found on the northbound side of Zhongyang Lu, a little south of the junction with Hunan Lu.
The One Polar shop is located on Chengxian Jie.
Another outdoor store is to be found on the southbound side of Longpan Lu, by the first bus stop north of the junction with Zhujiang Lu.
